The Scottish Dental Show will be held at Braehead Arena, part of the Intu Braehead leisure complex. The venue is easy to get to by car, bus, plane and even bike! Below you’ll find details of the venue, and directions on the day. 

About the venue

Braehead Arena is accessed through Braehead Shopping Centre (Exhibitors, delivery information can be found here), on-site there is more than 6,000 free parking spaces across three car parks, shopping and plenty of options for lunch.

Getting there

By car

Braehead Arena can easily be reached by road from the whole of central Scotland and beyond. Venue address if you are using a SAT NAV is: Braehead Arena, Kings Inch Road, Glasgow, G51 4BN.

It is accessed via junction 26 (eastbound) and junction 25a (westbound) of Glasgow’s M8 motorway (see map).

By bus

Braehead has its own dedicated bus station and travel information centre, over 820 buses pass through there every day. There are direct services from many locations including Glasgow city centre, Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine and Glasgow Airport.

By train

The nearest railway station is Paisley Gilmour Street. From there, you can catch one of the regular buses to Braehead. If you are travelling through Glasgow city centre, then we would recommend catching a bus from the city centre. For train times please use the National Rail website.

The closest underground station to Braehead is Govan, there are frequent buses from there to Braehead. The journey time is around 12 minutes from Govan.

By air

Braehead Arena is conveniently situated just four miles from Glasgow International Airport. For more information on flights to Glasgow visit the Glasgow Airport website.

The First Bus 77 service offers a direct link from Glasgow Airport to Braehead and Soar (it runs every 30 minutes for most of the day and the journey time to Braehead is around 15 minutes. For timetable details, please use the Braehead journey planner.

By bicycle

By foot

Braehead is only a mile away from Renfrew town centre and can easily be reached on foot, either by using the newly upgraded Kings Inch Road, or the riverside walkway. This extends from the boardwalk to the Renfrew Ferry.

    The Scottish Dental awards will return to the Glasgow Hilton on Friday 26 April, with award-winning comedian Fred MacAulay hosting and music by Glasgow-based DJ group Pretty Ugly Club, this black-tie gala event is not to be missed.
