Aims
The aim of this lecture is to provide a review of the role of obturation in the prognosis of root canal treatment and update practitioners on the most appropriate methods for root canal obturation.
Objectives
- compare the methods and materials available for obturation
- provide evidence of how these may affect outcome
- provide advice on contemporary obturation methods and materials to enhance clinical practice
- consider how obturation should evolve in the future
