Ms Morrison is currently working as a Specialist Dental Officer for Priority Groups and Patients with Additional Needs in NHS Ayrshire and Arran. She is the clinical lead for special care dentistry within the Public Dental Service and provides treatment for patients with a variety of additional care requirements in both hospital and community clinics.
She attained her BDS from the University of Glasgow in 2009 and proceeded to complete dental foundation and vocational training. She then held a variety of SHO posts in Glasgow Dental Hospital and Crosshouse University Hospital gaining experience in oral surgery, sedation, oral medicine, restorative dentistry and paediatrics. During this time she developed a keen interest in teaching and, in addition to passing the MFDS examinations through the RCPSG, attained a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Professions Education from the University of Glasgow.
She completed specialist training in special care dentistry with NHS Tayside Public Dental Service from 2014-2017, managing complex patients in both primary and secondary care dental services and successfully sitting both diploma and membership exams in the speciality.« Speaker list Lecture times » Workshop times »
